Camella asked her longtime friend Bobbito Garcia, aka, Kool Bob Love, to create the first 555 SOUL SOUNDS mixtape. Music has always been central to Triple 5 Soul's identity. Ehlke started the Triple 5 Soul Label in the early 2000s to record music with her favorite DJS and musicians. Each season we will release a new mixtape to celebrate the sounds and people that inspire us. 

Bobbito is a celebrated radio host, filmmaker, basketball and sneaker enthusiast, and creative visionary. During his time co-hosting "Stretch & Bobbito" on WKCR  from 1990 - 1998, Bobbito helped to introduce the world to hip-hop and propel the careers of legends like Nas, Wu-Tang, Notorious B.I.G., Jay Z and Big Pun. The 555 team is inspired by Bobbito's impact on multiple creative movements - especially hip-hop and sneaker culture - and feel grateful for his love and time spent creating this mixtape.
